Priscilla Pritchard
President
Priscilla is the founder of Old School Insights. She believes in the importance of utilizing the fundamentals of market research to gather good consumer insights. Those fundamentals combine good hypothesis development and testing with a thoughtful methodology of talking face to face with consumers to really get to know the whys behind their responses to ensure better marketing-decision making.
For 12 years prior, she was a co-founder and principal of Tango Strategy, a small, strategic marketing firm that helped businesses answer key questions to spur successful growth. She pioneered new techniques in qualitative research and consumer experience insights both domestically and internationally and is a RIVA trained moderator. Her recent clients include Made In Nature, Good Karma, Tyson, and New Hope Network.
She was also a Managing Director/Partner for 11 years at the Sterling-Rice Group and was instrumental in helping to grow the company into one of the leading brand consulting agencies in the country. She honed her expertise in product positioning and innovation with clients such as Kraft Foods, Kimberly-Clark, SC Johnson, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Georgia-Pacific, Pfizer, Unilever, Quaker, Pepsi, Whirlpool, and Beringer Wine Estates. Priscilla’s previous posts include Director of New Product Development for Heublein, Inc. (now Diageo) and New Product Development at Hamilton Beach.
Priscilla currently lives in Pasadena, California where she keeps up on food trends and incorporates them into her love of cooking and entertaining. She is an avid hiker, gardener, arts patron, and Kaiut Yoga enthusiast.
